Local Flea Market scores!

Today was a good day at the local Flea Market. I was so satisfied I even cut out a whole 2 hours earlier than usual.....

This is the exact desk I found today and almost didn't see it. Why? Well, I generally do not like roll top desks but those legs...those pulls....that grain! Status: Mine

Also from the same booth a lovely Hans Wegner style woven folding chair! Quite a great start to the day I might say!

It's always impossible to find matched side tables.....BUT guess who has TWO Pairs?!?! This girl!!!!

All in all this time was a much better experience because we knew better what to expect and that made for a much smoother set up. Met a lot of excellent people. Sellers and buyers both. Retail here I come!

Cute as can be!

I really love these chairs. The lovely atomic swoop design of the back and even the *gag* (dreaded by my husband) upholstery. I just think they couldn't be more adorable BUT perhaps they can because they just got picked up and will be getting a modern face lift from a happy new owner :) Wish I could see the result!

Here and gone to a good friend! SO I will get to sit in it again! So comfy....

I have been thinking a lot lately about what I really want to do with my life. What is it that I am passionate about? I have always loved to create, to decorate, to paint, to make beautiful my surroundings so that I can feel at peace with myself and feel happy where I am......but I'm feeling something bubbling up lately that tells me I need change. I need to get out. SOMETHING needs to happen. I am content in my relationship. I have a wonderful loving husband who I feel so passionate about, we have a lovely home together, a little shit of a cat that we love yet I am stuck. I'm not going in a direction that sits well with me.

Where do I go from here?
